Today I started my skiing season for this winter 2013-2014. I think that I will write much about my skiings on this blog next coming months. Today I published my first cell phone video at YouTube. It was filmed after sunset, dark time. My phone is Samsung Galaxy Note II LTE/4G. I can get nice quality videos and photos with it. I had nothing image stabilization on with that YouTube video, so it is a bit shaking. And phone is slippery, expesially with my glowes. My main camera Canon PowerShot SX50 HS is slightly big for my skiing trips.
Here is over 20cm layer of snow outdoors. My first skiing went well, no new scratches at the bottom of my skis. It was -8C when I was skiing. On my phone gps-tracking was on during skiing and my trip lenght was 6,36km including walk through forest to ski tracks. My skiing is CO2 neutral because I dont need a car when I go to skiing.;) I just walk through forest about 10 minutes to one direction.
I think that many of best landscapes at winter time I could offer to you are next to my skiing trips.
Beautiful snowy nature. And I live in Siilinjärvi, Eastern Finland. Today there was already other skiers too.
