Snowless end of year 2013

Hello!

Today I make trip with my bike. The lenght of my trip was 26,5km.
90% of the trip roads was snowless and the rest of 10% was covered with melting ice.
It was warm +4C and fair weather with moderate winds. I have done really rarely if never such long bike trips at this time of the year. I cycled slowly, because I did not want to get my clothes dirty. And I had plenty of time.
I filmed three YouTube videos today of which two are train related. My YouTube-name is also Natureweather.

Here in Siilinjärvi it is almost 100 % propability of white Christmas and now 29.12.2013 it is almost snowless ground. It has rarely been as snowless as now in here during my 30 year life. But 3-5 years ago I remember it was snowless spots even sixth of January.
The areas of high pressure and low pressure at Europe has been mostly such positions that mild airmass has been predominant here.
Siilinjärvi is located 63 degrees northern latitude.
