Today 14.12.2013 was sunny day with exellent visibility and temperaratures about -10C.
I decided to make test videos to YouTube and I took few photos with no zoom, little zoom, moderate zoom, 50x optical zoom, 100x zoom, 200x zoom. No tripod or monopod used.
Canon PowerShot SX50 HS is the best camera I had been. It is the fifth camera I had been owned if cell phone cams or webcams not included. I am not keen system cameras/single-lens reflex cameras at now. When I bought this camera big zoom was most important for me.
At this camera has great image stabilizer. Many people may wonder that whether is it possible to take photos or videos with 50x or bigger zooms without a pedestal. But my photos and videos will tell you that and you will see the quality. Biggest filesize in this camera is 4 gigabytes, which is usually 16 minutes of full hd video, sometimes more, even 20 minutes full hd video depending on condition.
For lower video qualities it is possible to make 30 minutes long videos, or even 1 hour with low quality. I bought a memory card with 64GB capasity for this camera.
One thing I wish to be better is that I would like to took photos and videos in darker conditions too than it is possible with this camera. Maybe I should have other camera for darker conditions.
I bought a lens hood for this camera too and it is handy that I dont have to take it off when I put this camera to official PowerShot- camera bag for this camera model. I also bought two extra batteries and these are not Canon batteries, because I got those cheaper. I changed bigger camera strap for this camera. Earlier the stap was on my previous camera
